Cycling in Devon – The Dartmoor Way

Cycling in Devon – The Dartmoor Way

Having fun and cycling in Devon has never been more accessible until now!

We have already featured the Tour De Manche cycle route and now Devon cycling has been enhanced further with a recently launched cycle way that opened up a 95-mile circular route of Dartmoor National Park taking in the hamlets, villages and glorious countryside.

This new cycle way, The DartmoorCycling in Devon Way, is a great way to explore some of the best landscape and beautiful countryside in the area. By following the newly signed recreational route you’ll be taking a varied, interesting and attractive journey that encompasses this national parkland.

Where possible, by cycling the well-signed route, the cycle way tries to follow quiet Devon lanes and devoted cycle tracks along its journey. With a choice of places to drink, eat and stay you’ll be reinvigorated and refreshed for more..

As an alternative to the main circular route should time be more limited, you can also try the figure-of-eight High Moorland link of 26-miles or the shorter north and south circular routes.
